Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club praised the performance of its players in the UAE Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships, achieving a series of remarkable results in competitions organized by the UAE Chess Federation. The club stated in a press release: «Player Ahmed Younes continued his brilliant performance, excelling in both tournaments by winning the gold medal in the under-14 rapid chess category, in addition to also being crowned champion of the UAE Blitz Chess Championship». The release added: «On the women's front, player Wafaa Al Mamari was crowned champion after a thrilling scenario in the final round, as she managed to secure a crucial victory over player Ahlam Rashid, who had been leading the championship until the final round». The release continued: «The Blitz Chess Championship witnessed great excitement, especially in the women's category, where Zainab Al Mamari and player Asina Guly tied for third place, leading to a tiebreaker match that Zainab managed to win in her favor».
